Miss Zhang Zilin of China,23-year-old,was crowned Miss World in the final round of Miss World Pageant on December 1,2007.The pageant was held in Sanya,a tourist resort in southern China's Hainan Province.She became the first Miss World from China in the pageant's 57-year-history.

Miss World Pageant is an international beauty pageant founded in the United Kingdom in 1951.Julia Morley is now the executive chairwoman of the organizing agency.Beauties from 106 countries and regions took part in the contest of 2007.
